Hi there, my name is David White, also know as the Anger Coach, and I help people learn how to control anger and re-take control of their lives.
It’s important to start by letting you know that I am a professionally trained coach with advanced training in areas of mental health.
Important: I am not a therapist, counsellor or trained medical professional.
What’s the Difference between Coaching, Therapy and Counselling?
Many of my clients have already tried therapy or counselling and, despite finding it useful, often explain that they feel stuck.
This is because traditional methods of therapy and counselling are very focused on past events and often don’t provide strategies for moving forward.
This isn’t a criticism because that is what they were designed to do.
Helping you find the root cause of your anger issues is the most critical stage, and without it, the rest would be ineffective.
My coaching process also relies heavily on discovering the root cause of your anger and raising your awareness of your actions.
But then we move forward – because nobody wants to live in the past.
Coaching is about goal-setting, taking action and putting your learnings to the test.
More About Me
Originally from Manchester, I am a 41-year-old divorced father of 2 boys (7 and 12yrs).
I grew up in a middle-class family on a council estate in Salford and went to one of the worst schools in the country (according to Channel 4).
During my childhood, violence was normal and getting into a fight was a normal weekly event.
I struggled with my anger all the way through primary and high school and into my adult life until one day I decided enough was enough.
Today, I am a qualified professional coach with various diplomas and certifications in areas such as; CBT, NLP and mental health areas such as stress and depression.
Coaching and helping people is my passion, and I have more than 1,000 hours of one-to-one coaching experience, helping people with various challenges and goals.
“Brother, you’ve cured me already. Instead of hurting people, I’m gonna help them take one on the chin instead of laying them out. You’re a miracle worker.”
